The Story

A jewel of a bakery, baked one slow loaf at a time.

Bosque Baking Co. is a family-run storefront where the ovens start before sunrise and the bread is still finished by hand β€” shaped, scored, and watched, not assembly-lined. Regulars don't ask "what's good here," they ask "what's left."

The sourdough is genuinely slow-fermented, which is why certain loaves only show up on certain days: the dough needs the time, and the bakers won't rush it. It's also why the case empties out β€” there's no backup batch waiting in a freezer.

Alongside the bread: hand-folded sweet and savory empanadas, a small rotating lineup of cookies, and a single, devastating pecan mini pie.

The smell of fresh bread hits you the second you walk in, and everything looked homemade and baked with real care. Definitely one of the best local spots for fresh baked goods.

Seed bread best I've ever tasted. Red chili garlic sourdough is an astonishing creation. Get there early, make friends as you stand in line.

A rare jewel of a bakery offering slow-rise sourdough that's hard to find outside a few cities. The loaves are world class β€” if this bakery were in a bigger city there'd be lines out the door.
